Spin The Wheel Terms & Conditions 

1. Promoter:  

The promoter of this competition is Powells Jewellery, Chester, United Kingdom, in partnership with Chester Racecourse. 

2. Eligibility: 

  • The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom only.  

  • Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.  

  • Employees of Powells Jewellery, Chester Racecourse, their immediate families, or anyone else professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter: 

  • The competition will run in Chester City Centre 

  • To enter, participants must: 

  1. Take part in the Powells Jewellery x Chester Racecourse Spin the Wheel to win an instant prize (where applicable).  

  1. Complete the newsletter sign-up form to enter the grand prize draw.  

  1. Only one grand prize entry per person is permitted. 

4. Competition Period: 

  • The competition will be open for entries on Friday 7 August 2026, from 10:00am to 5:00pm. 

  • Entries received outside of this period will not be counted. 

5. Prize: 

One winner will receive: 

  • Two County Concourse tickets to Powells Jewellery Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse on Saturday 22 August 2026.  

  • A £500 Powells Jewellery gift voucher.  

  • A 10% discount on their next purchase at Powells Jewellery.  

  • One complimentary styling appointment at Powells Jewellery.  

  • One complimentary jewellery cleaning service.  

A mutually convenient date and time will be arranged for the winner to visit the Powells Jewellery store to redeem the gift voucher, styling appointment and jewellery cleaning service. 

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. 

6. Winner Selection: 

  • One winner will be selected at random from all eligible newsletter sign-ups received during the competition period.  

  • The winner will be notified by email within 96 hours of the competition closing.  

  • The winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted to claim their prize. If no response is received within this time, Powells Jewellery reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 

 

7. Publicity:  

By entering the competition, the winner agrees that their name and, where they have provided consent, their photograph or image may be used for reasonable promotional purposes across Powells Jewellery and Chester Racecourse marketing channels, including social media, websites and other promotional materials. 

8. Data Protection  

  • By entering the competition and completing the newsletter sign-up form, participants agree that the personal information they provide, including their name and email address, will be collected by Powells Jewellery and shared with Chester Racecourse for the purposes of administering the competition and sending marketing communications. 

  • Participants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in emails or by contacting the relevant organisation directly. 

  • Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and each organisation's privacy policy. 

9. Liability: 

  • Powells Jewellery accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, incomplete, or otherwise invalid entries due to technical failures or issues beyond the store’s control. 

  • Powells Jewellery reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the competition, if necessary, due to circumstances beyond its control. 

10. General: 

  • By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.  

  • The promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.  

  • Powells Jewellery reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions. 

 

 

 

Powells Jewellery Ladies Day £500 Prize Draw 

Terms & Conditions 

  1. Promoter  

The promoter of this prize draw is Powells Jewellery, Chester, United Kingdom, in partnership with Chester Racecourse. 

  1. Eligibility  

  • The prize draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.  

  • Employees of Powells Jewellery, Chester Racecourse, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw are not eligible to enter.  

  • Entrants must be attending Powells Jewellery Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse on Saturday 22 August 2026.  

 

  1. How to Enter  

There are three ways to enter the Powells Jewellery £500 Prize Draw during Powells Jewellery Ladies Day: 

  • At the Lucky Horseshoe activation: scan the QR code and complete the entry form for the £500 Powells Jewellery prize draw. Entrants can then pick an envelope to reveal an instant prize.  

  • At the Photobooth located near the Parade Ring: scan the QR code and complete the entry form for the £500 Powells Jewellery prize draw.  

  • At the Spin the Wheel activation: take part in the Spin the Wheel activity and complete the entry form to be entered into the £500 Powells Jewellery prize draw.  

Entrants must provide the information requested on the entry form to be eligible for the prize draw. 

Only one entry per person is permitted, regardless of how many of the activation points are visited. 

  1. Competition Period  

The prize draw will be open for entries during Powells Jewellery Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse on Saturday 22 August 2026. 

Entries must be submitted by the closing time communicated at the event. Entries received after the closing time will not be counted. 

  1. Prize  

One winner will receive: 

  • A £500 Powells Jewellery gift voucher.  

  • Two County Concourse tickets to Powells Jewellery Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse on Saturday 22 August 2026.  

  • A 10% discount on their next purchase at Powells Jewellery.

As the prize draw takes place during Powells Jewellery Ladies Day, the winner's two event tickets will be for the same day's event. 

A mutually convenient date and time will be arranged for the winner to visit Powells Jewellery to redeem their gift voucher, styling appointment and jewellery cleaning service. 

The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. 

  1. Winner Selection  

One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the prize draw period. 

The winner will be contacted using the email address provided at the time of entry. 

The winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within this period, Powells Jewellery reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 

  1. Instant Prizes  

Any instant prizes available through the Lucky Horseshoe activation or Spin the Wheel activation will be subject to availability and the specific terms communicated at the activation. 

Instant prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize unless otherwise stated. 

  1. Data Protection  

By entering the prize draw, participants agree that the personal information they provide, including their name and email address, will be collected by Powells Jewellery and shared with Chester Racecourse for the purposes of administering the prize draw and, where applicable, sending marketing communications. 

Where participants separately consent to receive marketing communications, their information may be used by Powells Jewellery and Chester Racecourse to send relevant marketing communications in accordance with their respective privacy policies. 

Participants can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the relevant communication. 

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the respective privacy policies of Powells Jewellery and Chester Racecourse.

The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional activity relating to the prize draw. 

Any use of the winner's name, photograph or image for promotional purposes will be subject to the winner's consent.

Powells Jewellery accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, incomplete or otherwise invalid entries resulting from technical failures, QR code issues, internet connectivity problems or circumstances beyond its reasonable control. 

Powells Jewellery reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend the prize draw where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

By entering the prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
